This was my first opportunity to photograph a performance (well, technically a dress rehearsal) put on by The Colorado Ballet. Their regular photographer was out of the country and, lucky me, got a call asking  to fill in.  The show took place at the Newman Center on the University of Denver’s campus.  The assignment: Capture 3 compelling, high quality images of each dance and have them ready for the marketing department by mid morning next day. The show was approximately an hour long and by 7 pm I was wrapping things  up. Over a thousand images, 2 cups of coffee and 6 hours latter I had it down to a final 12 images selected, retouched and ready to go.
