Everyone Has A Story To Tell – A Moment To Capture (Watch)

I am a story teller.  Young, old, and in between; at various places and milestones. During great moments of happiness and celebration such as a birth or a wedding. At milestones such as a graduation, a wedding anniversary or a Bar Mitzvah.  No matter the context—play, song, dance, work—there’s always a story to tell and it is my job to tell it.

I am a memory keeper.  I started Sue Daniels Photography in 2007.  Since then, I have had the privilege and pleasure of capturing and preserving  some of the most priceless and wonderful moments in people’s lives.

I am an observer.  I look – for expressions, emotion, beauty, form, movement and the story.

I am a purist. I want to capture the moment. I don’t want to morph it or change it. I focus on excellent quality and honesty of expression. I don’t shoot thousands of images in the hopes of getting a few good photos. I shoot with determination and a trained eye.

More About Sue Daniels

I live in the wonderful town of Denver, Colorado. My “hood” is the up-and-coming Sunnnyside. When I’m not shooting, I am dancing, gardening, bike riding and hanging out with friends and family.

When I first moved to Denver I built a photo studio on my property. It is wonderful and equipped with professional lighting, backgrounds, props, and music. It’s great for head shots, sen
ior portraits, glamour and fashion, and family photos. A great space to work, and my clients love it!

I keep up with the ever-changing photography world by taking classes, reading professional magazines and attending conferences. I have also won numerous awards for my photography. I am the founder and organizer of Boulder Portrait Photographers, a group of professional and semi-professional photographers interested in the art, development, preservation, and business of portrait photography.

I work out of my Denver studio. I also work on location in Denver, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Broomfield, Nederland, Longmont and Niwot.

Every individual that steps in front of my camera is beautiful, vital, extraordinary, interesting, and intriguing.
