Calypso is an exotic looking girl with long beautiful hair, dark skin and plenty of spunk. I knew she was going to be a lot of fun to photograph and I was looking forward to my session with her. We planned to meet at Chautauqua at 5:30. I got there a little early only to find out that they closed off the area (and all the surrounding trails) I usually like to shoot in because of fire danger. Now what? On top of that, the minute Calypso arrived it started to rain. Well, that was a actually a good thing because of the fires in the area. We waited until the heaviest of the rain was over and then, knowing she was a brave girl, we ventured out into the light sprinkle that was still coming down.  Between the 2 of us (and her mom), we found plenty of other places in the park to shoot. All was well – we kept an open mind, good attitude and used a little creativity to make it work!
