One of the best parts of my day is when I am making dinner and my daughter is practicing piano.  She plays so beautifully it makes me want to dance around the house. And, it gives me great joy and pleasure to see how her talent has grown over the years. It wasn’t always easy and there were a few times when I think she was very close to giving it up.  But, I think mostly for my sake, she dutifully kept at it.  I’m so happy she did. One of the best gifts you can give your child is an appreciation for music.  It carries you through life, provides you companionship and an outlet for expression, and connects you with others in a very profound way.
